customer wants me to support a wordpress-based site under my hosting reseller account. He wants to keep email and possibly other google apps features. Just move the main website to the new host. Can this be done? Or does it violate some google policy? If it can be done, what are the steps? It looks like I can't log in to a regular GoDaddy account using the customer's GApps/GoDaddy creds. I can only get into an embedded godaddy window via advanced DNS. All of the help so far shows how to point to google apps; none that I could find tells how to point away from google apps to another host.

I think what you would need is to create an A type "@" record and point that ip address to the new hosting site's IP.

Not sure this violates any google policies though. But you can always check TOS to be sure.
